I have always been able to make positive and successful transitions in my career until I hit my mid forties and the job market evaporated. I share your pain and have tried to "reinvent" myself but find there are no taker regardless of any incarnation. For some reason not even the temp agencie showed any interest in me and my skill set. I just wish UP Chapters would form quickly so we'd have a place to go for moral support.
