Treated Like an Object

I have been in the computer field for 17 years now. I see so many ways that companies treat employees unfairly and I want to do something about it. From professional days that last 18 hours to “at will” employment, the people that create so much of the wealth and prosperity for the world are treated like objects instead of highly educated, hard working people.

You are SO right! I don’t know if people realize how much overtime is put in my salaried IT professionals with no PAY. One is expected to be available whenever there is a crisis or a deadline to be met and there is no consideration that one might have a life outside the job. It is the abuse of the American worker and it must be stopped.
