Would Like to Build My Own Practice

I was let go from my job in May, 2006, and have been doing contract work while looking for a fullhire position, In the meantime, I have continued my training as a life coach, currently taking coursework in career coaching, and would like to build my own practice.

    Don’t want to burst your bubble, but do you know anyone making a living as a life coach? I know two people who tried and it didn’t work.

    Building a practice takes time,money and contacts. Plus, a marketplace with willing consumers. As the middle class shrinks and issues of health insurance, mortgage payments, fuel, etc, take center stage for a majority of us, where are people to find the funds to pay your fee?

    I wish you well. I just hope you’ve thought this through.
