University As We Have Known It is Sinking Fast

I am an adjunct at a variety of institutions — anyone who does this will need little explanation of the problem. I am a published author and an active researcher, I enjoy my teaching, and am concerned (convinced, really) that the university as we have known it is sinking fast. That’s a lot bigger than my “career” but I have seen it happening and would like to think strategically with others — current union approaches are ok, but highly flawed: too little too late.
