UP Chapters - Collaborate, Network, Act

Through work in UP Chapters, UP members can demonstrate the power of collective action to address key issues.

UP Chapters serve a bidirectional function: serving as the "point of impact" to help drive important issue campaigns with UP National direction and support and identifying and moving issues onto the UP National agenda.

UP Chapters are not intended to be static "brick and mortar" clubs. They should exist only in the context action and service to members.

Formal UP Chapter status will include three basic requirements:

  1. 1. Building a network of at least 25 members in your area
  2. 2. Completing the UP Chapter "training module"
  3. 3. Being "chartered" by UP National

Chapters are forming now and pre-charter informational teleconferences for UP members are being held on a regular basis.

If you'd like to learn more, be sure to check "Chapter Building" as one of the interest categories in your email subscription or your membership form.
