UP services supported by your membership include:

Advocacy and Lobbying
As our membership grows and diversifies, UP is committed to addressing national, state and local issues that affect professionals and their families. Our collective national might helps bring our issues to light on Capitol Hill and in the White House. As important, however, is our ability to build state or city-based chapters that can work locally.
Insurance Support
It is our goal to make insurance available and affordable to both our members and professionals at large. But this is a tall order. While your UP membership and dues will provide some resources for this task, it will take all our might, will, intellect and activism to move toward such a reality.
Job Assistance
Naturally, professionals that are under or unemployed are, more than anything else, looking for some measure of job security - or simply a job. Together, UP members can build a unique network of job support and assistance.
Member Discounts
Discounted credit card and banking services will be available to UP members as they become available to UP. The more members we can show potential service providers, the more leverage we have to make these services available to UP members at the best possible price.
Legal Resources
From age, family and race discrimination to short paychecks or work-related injuries, UP will point you in the right direction.
